Previously you would need a BM operator to link up on Brandmeister level but since YSF2DMR is available from github, theoretically we can just use the existing MMDVM’s YSF2DMR module to plug into YSFReflector since both of them is listening to localhost UDP ports.

When MB gets these streams, it does know the data type of the audio but it only has one "transmit" port that sends that stream to the other partner.
I am using a Yaesu FT-70DR with a ZUMsppot and Raspberry Pi Zero W. I know that if I want to connect to a YSF room I can enter the 5 digit YSF number for a given room on my radio and connect- for example for the Alabama Link, I would enter 02034 and then push the AMS key on the radio to connect.
