Wotlk ferocity pet build

Replacing the training point system for hunter pets, the pets themselves will now use talent points/trees. Pets start earning talent points at level 20 and then gain a point every 4 levels. So by the time your hunter reaches level 80, the pet will have 16 spendable points, unless the hunter has the Beast Mastery talent, which adds 4 more points. Each pet will have their own tree which will ...

Wrath of the Lich King Hunter Pet Talent Trees In the WOTLK expansion, all hunter pets will have their talents and abilities completely reworked. Instead of a fairly common set of talents, each pet will now have their own customizable talent tree and up to 13 points in which you can spend to customize your pet. Strangely enough my Sporebat is one of my highest DPS pets, then followed by the Chimaera and then my raptor (which is my backup pet if the boss does alot of damage to pets.) Oct 07, 2008 ยท If you want a tanking pet, choose a tenacity pet. If you want a high dps pet, choose a ferocity pet. Cunning pets have some interesting spells, and some nice utility; pets in this family are useful for pvp, but also can be useful in pve and raiding. Choose what you like to fit your playstyle and talent build, and spec the pet accordingly.

I would go for the rez ability, mostly because i look at my pet as an extra 320AP and some dps, rather than a big chunk of my dps. I could care less how hard he's hitting or how much hes critting, a measly 50 dps or something isn't as important as having the ability to revive him instantly and have him keep Furious Howling for me :)
